Hardsmen attack in the west, Tinubu’s silence is for Political reasons-Afenifere.

A head of the Yoruba socio-political gathering, Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, says a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, is afraid to speak on the Fulani herdsmen crisis in parts of the South-West region because he does not want to offend the President, Muhammadu Buhari.

According to Afenifere leader, Tinubu has not denounced the assaults by Fulani herders against the Yoruba individuals due to his official aspiration in 2023.

The Afenifere tribal leader said Tinubu accepts that Buhari will help him become the following leader of the country.

Of late, Fulani herders have been blamed for executing violations going from kidnappings, killings, assault to attack of farmlands with their cows in the South-West district particularly in Oyo, Ondo, Ekiti and Ogun States.

Adebanjo said rather than Buhari to ensure all Nigerians, he has taken to protecting the Fulani herders in spite of various proof that they are chargeable of the offensive wrongdoings.

I don’t accepting the promulgation of the Buhari government that how would you realize they are Fulani? Furthermore, when they are gotten, they will say, they are unfamiliar Fulani. In the event that you are a skillful safeguard of the Nigerian public, the Fulani herders won’t carry out all types of monstrosities unabated,” he said.
