Your actions Should reveal God’s love- Rev. Istifanus Mike charges couples.

Couples have been challenged to be good to one another and let their actions also be in such a way that, it reveals, their love for God. This is in order for the Woman to bring dignity for the man, and the man, a shield for the woman.

Reverend Istifanus Mike of COCIN Lohdik, RCC Dadin Kowa Jos, threw the challenge while delivering sermon at the wedding solemnization between Felicia Gyang and Dung Dashuwei which took place at Gassa, RCC Ropp, in Barkin Ladi L.G.A of Plateau State.

In his message, Reverend Istifanus Mike described marriage as “God’s own institution, divinely set up by God himself intentionally and not an after thought action. purposely, to bring people close to God through serving one another in marriage”.

Mike who took his text from the book of Mathew 6:27, also rely on the song sang by COCIN women Fellowship, Gassa, urged Christian Parents to bring up children in the fear of God.

The minister commended parents of bride and groom for training their children (Felicia and Gyang) in a Godly manner which led to their marrying in Godly manner.

He encouraged the newly wedded couple and christians generally to continue Believing, persisting and trusting God as those he(Rev.Mike) said, are the key things that will make them act the way they act.

According to him, “Intimacy is part of what Jesus came to this world to build with humanity through fellowship. And so it is with the marriage between a man and a woman. As such, the action of believers must correspond with their declaration”.

“Loving your wife is not conditional but unconditional according to the biblical injunction, while wives are expected to submit to their husbands even if they are behaving in a manner that does not warrant such a submissiveness”. The Speaker Stresses.

The newly wedded couple ( Mr.&Mrs. Gyang) were also presented with a token of gift by Pastor Istifanus Gunkat on behalf of COCIN LCC Lohdik.
