ARREST OF PARLITIVES LOOTTERS: DAKYEN & 52 YOUNG PLATEAU LAWYERS VULUNTEER FREE LEGAL SERVICES.

Over fiftey-two Plateau Young indigenous lawyers have so far vulunteered themselves to offer pro Bono services to all those arrested in connection to #Endsars .

According to one of the vulunteer young lawyers Panshak Dakyen (Esq.), There action is to free their generation.

Dakyen noted that, hunger and starvation is too obvious in the society due to Government insestivity to the major plights of it’s citizens.

His text as made available to this platform says which read in parts “followed the Press Statement issued on  the 26th October, 2020 by the Director of Press & Public Affairs to the Governor of Plateau State, Dr. Makut Daniel Macham, wherein he stated that 307 suspects that were arrested by Security Agencies in various locations in connection with COVID 19 RELIEF MATERIALS”

The young vulunteer lawyers are Walshak Gwankat , Mafeng Davou, Charles Amagong Charles , Yirvoms Chamsan James, Lashom Machen, Esther Messeng Jock, Samuel Albarka Lahbudam, Elizabeth Ogar, Maria Adda, and Tokwam Lenkat.

Others include,  Daniel Daniel Kelvins Obekpa, Arin Nyako, adama , Abduljalal Muhammed, Kehinde Ibiyeye, Dr. E. I. Otor, Kere Usendu, Shadrach Pam,  A. P. AZANG, S. T. GYANG, Peggy Maimaji, Ruth B. Magit,  Nendelmwa Kwashil, Fomwul Gonsum and Stephen Ye’rat Dalyop among 52 others.

Meanwhile, A another young Lawyer Nantok Dashuwar (Esq.) had earlier declared his vulunteer position to stand in for those arrested in connection to COVID19 palliatives/Fertilizers warehouses in Plateau State.

As at the time of filling in this report, Dakyen said, more vulunteer young lawyers are still sending in their names.

He also told Sawabiya that, an office has been donated to them at a secured area for the said purpose and they are about to start operating.

Recalled that, Commander, Special Military Task Force, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), Maj.-Gen. Chukwuemeka Okonkwo had on Saturday 27th September, 2020, paraded before reporters in Jos 30 suspects for vandalising and looting valuables at the Jos residence of former Speaker of House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
