PDP’S VICTORY IN EDO: OSHIOMHOLE BLAMES TINUBU WHILE APC BLAMES OSHIOMOLE OVER PARTY’S LOST.

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has blames the Party’s National Leader and former Governor of Lagos, Senator Bola Asiwaju Tinubu over APC’s  candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu’s defeat in the last Saturday governorship election in Edo State.

Oshiomole who spoke about the election’s outcome said, the video released by the party’s National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu contributed to party’s failure to deliver.

The APC’S former chairman said “Edo State people felt insulted by Tinubu’s campaign video and they reacted angrily against our party on Saturday.”

Recalled that, Tinubu, who is a former governor of Lagos State had released a recorded broadcast shortly before the election where he described Governor Godwin Obaseki as a dictator and called on the people to reject him at the polls.

Oshiomhole, who was said to have complained to some of his associates today, said it was Tinubu’s video that amplified the “Edo No Be Lagos” campaign, which presented the candidate, Ize-Iyamu as someone coming to be Governor to serve Tinubu. Which to them,
Asiwaju’s comments as an indication that he wanted Edo to be a subdued territory under Lagos State and that affected our chances in the election.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Edo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Anselm Ojezua has blamed APC’s defeat on Adams Oshiomhole whom he said, pushed Governor Godwin Obeseki from the party.

According to him, that was what caused the defeat suffered by the party in the just concluded governorship election in the state can be partly blamed on Adams Oshiomhole and the national organ of the party.

Reacting to the victory of Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Edo governorship election, Ojezua insuated saying, as the state APC chairman, he received the news of Obaseki’s win with mixed feelings.
